Clongowes Library

The new Clongowes Library will provide students with regular access to quality reading materials including a collection of c.10,000 books, research papers and periodicals. It will include areas for formal and informal study; reading, research and multi-media facilities and two peer tutor rooms for group study.

Architects for the project are A&D Wejcherts and Partners Architects, and construction will commence early in 2008 with completion due in the Autumn of 2008.

The new 695m² library will be built in the renovated existing concert hall, it will encompass a new conservatory area and, together with the recently renovated Lower Line Study, is expected to become a centre for reading, learning and academic life at Clongowes.
